From the beginning, the American Red Cross has formed a community of service, of bighearted, strong and respectable individuals bound by beliefs beyond themselves. The honor, spirit and resources of the American people are exemplified when Americans help others when in need. Whether it’s during earthquakes, floods, fires, or storms, we all expect blood to be there for us. However, barely a fraction of those who can give blood actually do. Yet sooner or later, virtually all of us will face a time of great vulnerability in which we will need blood. And unfortunately, this time of need is far too unexpected. Help The Red Cross association in changing American lives, one person at a time.
Why do you think this is an effective video?

I liked everything about the video..i liked how the video showed the statistics and the importance of giving blood. That it gives those in need the opportunity to be with their loved ones.
I felt this PSA was very powerful. First of all it surrounded a major issue, donating blood. It showed how many different ways donating blood can help others I need. I thought the most powerful part of the PSA was towards the end, where the speaker said that "donating blood may allow a father to be with his child a few more years." This PSA was very powerful and I thought it was amazing.

I think this Video was very effective it described every possible way that you can help, and also what your time and donations would be contributed to.
Great use of statistics! The 60% are eligible and only 5% do number is staggering. I also really liked the 2nd to last image of the child praying. Nice image selection, very powerful.
